Parents’ Evenings are organised events that provide parents and guardians with the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress and wellbeing with teachers. These evenings are scheduled throughout the academic year for each year group and appointments can be booked online using SchoolCloud.

Parents’ Evening will either take place face to face at the school, online via SchoolCloud or Hybrid (face to face and online).  Please see the dates and information below for Parents’ Evenings this academic year.

What is SchoolCloud?

SchoolCloud is our online booking system for Parents’ Evenings. It allows you to:

• Book appointments with your child’s teachers.
• Attend virtual meetings via video call (if applicable).
• View your appointment schedule and receive reminders.

How to Book Appointments

1. Visit: https://penglais.schoolcloud.co.uk/
2. Login using your child’s details:
• Student’s First Name & Surname
• Date of Birth
• Year Group & Form Class
3. Select the Event (e.g., Year 9 Parents’ Evening).
4. Choose Teachers and available time slots.
5. Confirm your schedule and receive an email confirmation.

Parents’ will receive a letter and parental guide approximately 2 weeks prior to the Parents’ Evening which will contain the information regarding when the booking window will open and close.

Attending Virtual Appointments

If the evening is held online:

• Log in to SchoolCloud 5–10 minutes before your first appointment.
• Click “Join Video Appointments”.
• Each meeting will start automatically at the scheduled time.
• Meetings are timed and will end automatically after the allotted slot.

Appointment Duration

Each appointment typically lasts 5 minutes, allowing teachers to speak to all parents. Please be punctual to make the most of your time.
