When is the canteen open?
When is the canteen open? The canteen is open for all students for breaktime and lunchtime.
How big is the canteen?
There are 3 serveries
How do I pay for my lunch?
You will be issued with a dinner card and you will use that to pay for your lunch
How do I put cash on my dinner card?
As a school we are run a cashless system, therefore parents/guardians will need to set up an account on Parentpay. This will enable you to put money on the dinner cards by using credit/debit cards or by Paypoint. If you have any queries please email admin@penglais.org.uk
Why can’t I pay cash for my lunch?
We are now a cashless school and all payments need to be paid through ParentPay.
Can I get a record of what I am eating?
Yes, all items that you buy are registered against your card and you can ask finance for a printout.
I have lost my dinner card?
You need to see the finance department, they will arrange for a new card to be issued, there could be a charge for this.
