Student leadership is a strong element of our Sixth Form experience. We understand that students have ambition, initiative, motivation and passion. What we can offer are the opportunities, guidance and support to ensure all our students maximise their potential.
Ysgol Penglais School values voluntary service and students are expected to complete a minimum of 30 hours, thereby developing their sense of community, responsibility, leadership and moral purpose. We have developed links with local primary schools, residential homes, and charity shops to name but a few.
In Sixth Form, a significant group of students are selected to develop leadership skills by representing the student body as the prefect team. These students are selected in Year 12 and form an important part of the student voice in the sixth form. Sixth Form students are invited to volunteer to represent the school at events throughout the year such as the Sixth Form Open Evening, Ysgol Penglais School Open Evening and Sports Day.
We want to help you become the next generation of creative and respected leaders.
